Role Overview
You will take ownership of a defined South Central U.S. territory, with a strong focus on new business development while building long-term client relationships.
• Own and grow your assigned territory
• Focus on 80% new business development / 20% account management
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → conversion → implementation
• Build trusted relationships through a consultative sales approach
• Travel up to 50% to meet clients and develop your pipeline
• Deliver on revenue targets and key performance metrics
• Maintain pipeline visibility and activity within CRM systems
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and associations
What You’ll Bring
• 5+ years of experience in territory sales, business development, or a similar role
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory from a home office
• Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable
• Willingness to travel across the region
Preferred:
• Experience in institutional laundry, healthcare textiles, or related industries
• Existing relationships within the market
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar CRM/ERP platforms
